We hear the word “grace” all the time . . . musicians play grace notes in their music, we aim to be in someone’s good graces, some “say grace” before a meal, or we look for a grace period if something is late. As the song suggests, grace truly is amazing, but what if in the midst of all these cliches, we’re missing the true power that God’s grace provides? The grace that we receive from Jesus has the power to do the impossible in our lives: To bring eternal life in Heaven and freedom today from addictions, bitterness, depression, anxiety, despair, and anything else this life might try and throw at us.
