We believe growing in generosity is part of growing spiritually. We serve a generous God. Growing in our relationship with Him means realizing that our time, talents, and treasure all come from Him. He has entrusted us with all of it to manage for His purposes. The idea of tithing (giving the first 10 percent of our income to our local church) isn’t something somebody just made up; we read about it all through the Bible. We don’t believe you should give for us. We believe you should give to grow in your relationship with God.

Is online giving at City Life Secure?

Yes! Our online giving provider is certified with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) as a Level 1 Service Provider. You can rest easy knowing that your giving is completely secure.

What end date should I use when scheduling my recurring donation?

If you’re using a credit or debit card to give, use the card expiration date. You’ll receive an email reminder when you need to update your information. You can select the frequency and the start and end dates of your giving on the left-hand side of the page.

I’m not sure I’m ready to give. What should I do?

We recognize that giving is a big step. It can be scary and intimidating. But, we also believe that giving is an important part of spiritual growth, so we want to make it as nonintimidating as possible. Therefore, we challenge you to take the 90-Day Tithe Challenge. Make a commitment to give here at CityLife for 90 days, and if at the end of those three months you haven’t grown spiritually, we’ll give it all back. Yep, we’re serious – we’ll give it all back. What do you have to lose?
